While many RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, as well as the FE edition of the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 come with a full covering spreader to properly cool the PCBs into the Beast, no solution was available for other RTX 3070 yet.
We now have a spreader for the memories of some references, that come in addition to our machined heatsinks for VRMs. Combined together, it is a really nice passive solution to keep everything cold.
The list of compatible cards is still in progress. Are currently confirmed:
- ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070
- EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming OC
- MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming X Trio
The spreader has been also modified to support some other cards with a very similar PCB. For now, it includes the card we currently use in our "Extremely Fanless" configuration, the Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC.
We will update these two lists with new references as soon as more similar PCBs will be checked and confirmed.
